We're southern dessert lovers.  Dessert.net Cafe was born on the love of good friends, good conversation over a memorable childhood dessert. 

However, our menu as grown quite a bit from our small selection of traditional southern cakes.   We serve you after dinner, your local restaurant customer, catered events or even holiday gift giving.

We use our fresh baked cakes and homemade frosting to create these addictive delights. Finely crumbled and mixed with incredible frosting combinations, hand rolled into double-bite sized cake balls then, dipped and rolled in premium chocolates, nuts and more. They are so elegant, even the messy ones are unique and pretty.

Only the best cookie varieties will do.  There is just nothing like a great cookie. We didn't realize how good cookies could be until we began to explore the many varieties and combinations. All your favorite nuts, flavors and hard-to-finds are here. Why? Because they just are not commercial enough to be found in your local stores. They're made from love, like your Mom and Grand Mother used to bake. And something this special is hard to mass produce when they are based on love.

And, they take a little practice to get 'em just right too! That's where the labor comes in. However, our cookies are just that, our labor of love to you. Baked to golden perfection, you'll find warm batches of Pistachio White Chocolate, Butter Pecan, Butter Melt-A-Ways, Cranberry Cashew and of course, our Everything Cookies.

We're constantly working to convert many of your favorite southern cakes, quick breads and other desserts to fit the diabetic diet standards. In our efforts we want to make sure you don't miss out on one delicious bite of flavor in exchange for sugar and other substitutes.

Desserts are a part of our lives and loved by all. However, we understand that health issues may hinder your ability to enjoy some of your childhood favorites. But, as long as there are healthy and delicious substitutes, we'll keep trying to duplicate and perfect our Diabetic desserts until we establish ourselves as the experts. Fresh Quick Breads 

When most people think of quick breads, they're not quite sure how to categorize them. Is it a bread....but, not for sandwiches, or, is it a cake....shaped like a loaf? Well, simple put, it's a bread. A bread leavened by baking powder (or carbonate) versus yeast. It's dense and firm texture makes an excellent canvas for incorporating endless flavors and fruits.

Five simple ingredients make a basic quick bread. If you were to try your hand at baking, you would find that with a 'little more of this' and a 'little less of that', your quick bread could easily become your muffins, biscuits, cornbread, soda bread, pancakes and more.

What we love most about quick breads at Dessert.net Cafe, is that even though they are a simple pleasure, they're generally low-cal healthy and as diverse as you could imagine.

While you will find the familiar favorites like Banana or Zucchini Nut on the menu, you will also discover some very new and very old breads from decades gone by. The late 19th century to be exact. Breads that are so rich and robust, it's amazing they were ever forgotten about in the first place.

Although we don't ship our juicy cobblers, they are available for local pick up, delivery or catered events.  Double crusted and rich in natural flavors.

Singe serving desserts are in demand.  So we offer mini bundt cakes, mini pies and baby bundts too!  All of our Southern Cakes, Liqueur Cakes and Pies are available in these personal sized servings.

• Mini Bundts serves 1-2 persons - great for yourself, your business or your catered event.
• Baby Bundts serts 3-4 persons -   great for gifting or just to have a little left over for later.

Liqueur Cakes

Over 40 spirited cakes in layer, bundt, mini bundt, sheet and rounds.

Our southern cakes are enhanced with only premium liqueurs and spirits. You'll find most every category or flavor on our menu. From traditional rum to wines, brandies, bourbons and whiskeys, champagne and even tequila.

Several of our liqueur cakes are inspired by the original cocktail, like our Harvey Wallbanger Bundt, Black Russian, or White Russian cakes.

Our delicious dessert is never overpowered just enhanced with premium liqueurs to create a well balanced pairing.

Lusciously Low-Cal

As with our Diabetic desserts, we've converted your southern favorites into luscious Low-Cal favorites - just as rich, just as flavorful - but with a few less calories.  Our Low-Cal menu includes Cookies, Quick Breads, Brownies and of course, southern cakes!

Morning Coffee Cake

New to our menu and growing by demand.  Our coffee cakes are fresh and sure to brighten your day.  Dense, rich and full of flavor!  Our morning Coffee Cakes are perfect at home or your business. Everyone will enjoy the less sweet alternative.

Perfect Puddings

If you've ever had a scoop of homemade Banana or Bread Pudding, only the read-deal will do from that moment on.

While the instant pudding and cookies topped with whipped cream may satisfy your sweet tooth, nothing will warm your soul like the slow cooking and constant stirring of homemade custard. Made only from sweet and rich cream, cooled just right, then poured over layer after layer of Vanilla Wafers and Banana slices. And that topping. How did Grand Ma do that? Egg whites beaten to soft white clouds are the only topping for this southern favorite.

And oh, the Bread Pudding. Thank God butter was churned, eggs were laid, cows were milked right there on the land, and a true Saint was in the kitchen. The very idea that staling bread could be used to create a special treat!

Once you've mastered the art of making pie crust - good pie crust, the kind that competes with the pie filling it's so good - you know that you're going to enjoy an award-deserving pie every time.

Sweet Potato Pie, Egg (Custard) Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Chess Pie, Buttermilk Pie, Bean Pie, and Pecan Pie are the southern hits we serve.

For the ultimate southern pie experience, try our Sweet Potato Custard Pie. It's sweet potato pie with a layer of egg pie on the bottom. Lawd have mercy!

Southern Cakes

Considering we ship our cakes all across the USA, we don't focus on the frills of decorating. Our cakes are about quality and flavor. They contain no preservatives and are never frozen. That's why only pure butter, fine sugars, fresh fruits and premium ingredients will do for our cakes.

Most of our cakes are in Bundt and Split-Bundt form, with only a few select flavors in Layered. However, if you're a DIYer (do-it-yourselfer) and want to have any of our cakes decorated for a special occasion, we will bake your favorite cake in sheets or rounds. You or your local decorator can add all the special touches upon arrival.
